Before you read
Grenada is a small island with a long memory. This guide tells its story in order, from the first people who crossed the water to the island you are standing on today.
It is written to be read slowly, on a veranda or a flight. Where historians agree, the guide simply says so. Where they do not, it tells you, because you deserve to know the difference between what is documented and what is told.
